TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE ALCOHOL INDUSTRY FAIR WHISKY FESTIVAL 2025
- The Festival will take place on August 22 and 23, 2025, in Sopot, at the open-air location: Hipodrom Sopot, ul. Polna 1, 81-745 Sopot.
- Festival Participants are granted entry to the event grounds: on August 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and on August 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- On both days, service at festival booths will end at 9:45 PM.
- Participants may remain on the Festival grounds from the start until the end of the event, after which they are required to leave the premises without undue delay.
- Only persons over 18 years of age, holding a valid Ticket, Identification Wristband, or other entry documents issued by the Organizer, are permitted to be on the Festival grounds.
- Ticket Use Policy:
- The purchased Admission Ticket must be exchanged for an Identification Wristband and a tasting glass, which must be secured to avoid damage or loss.
- In case of loss or damage of the tasting glass, the Participant is required to purchase a new one for 15 PLN at the festival shop.
- Festival whiskies are poured exclusively into official festival tasting glasses at the festival booths; exhibitors do not provide disposable containers and will not serve drinks for tasting in personal containers.
- Unused Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be reimbursed by CBMAX.
- The Organizer does not issue duplicates for lost or damaged Tickets
or Identification Wristbands. - Damaged Tickets or Wristbands are also non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
- Issued Tickets and Wristbands are for individual use only and do not entitle the holder to bring additional guests.
- By exchanging a Ticket for a Wristband, the Participant declares that they have read and accepted the Festival Regulations.
- Entry to the Festival will be denied or individuals will be removed if they refuse to undergo verification of entry rights, identification checks, or fail to present documents verifying age. The Participant authorizes the Organizer to carry out all verification procedures regarding eligibility to participate in the Festival.
- Persons under the influence of alcohol whose behavior disturbs the peace, order, or the undisturbed participation of other Attendees, as well as those under the influence of narcotic or psychotropic substances, are not permitted on the Festival grounds. Such individuals will be denied entry or removed from the Festival.
- Persons whose behavior poses a potential threat to public order or may endanger others are not permitted on the Festival grounds. Such individuals will be denied entry or removed from the Festival.
- Persons present at the Festival are required to behave in a manner that does not endanger the safety of others and, in particular, to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- It is strictly forbidden to bring dangerous tools or substances onto the Festival grounds, such as weapons, explosives, pyrotechnic items including firecrackers, sparklers, flares, torches, etc., flammable materials, narcotics, psychotropic substances, or items that may pose a threat to human life or health, including baseball bats, batons, metal pipes, knives, and similar objects.
- The Organizer reserves the right to inspect clothing and luggage of people entering or present at the Festival. Refusal will result in denial of entry or removal from the premises, without any refund of fees paid.
- No storage for prohibited items is provided by the Organizer.
- It is prohibited to damage any property located on the Festival grounds, including but not limited to information boards, trash bins, benches, and all other objects and property, as well as to relocate equipment or property without authorization or to start fires.
- Shouting slogans that provoke or incite disturbances of public order and safety, that may spark conflict, or that are offensive, discriminatory, or demeaning to others—particularly on the basis of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age, beliefs, or any other reason—is strictly prohibited.
- Individuals engaging in disruptive behavior, threatening others, violating decency, bringing in prohibited items, or failing to comply with regulations will be removed from the event with no right to a refund.
- If the individual’s actions constitute a legal offense, they may face legal consequences.
- Participants have access to designated areas as defined by the Organizer.
- Blocking emergency exits, access roads for emergency services and police, hydrants, and other equipment needed for rescue/firefighting operations is strictly prohibited.
- Each Participant is required to familiarize themselves with all regulations, recommendations, and rules, including the Festival map found in the starter package.
- Participants must inform the Organizer or security about any fire, life or property threats, or signs of disorder.
- The Organizer is not responsible for any property left on the Festival grounds.
- Participants must follow the Organizer’s instructions.
- The Organizer reserves the right to change the event’s date or hours or cancel
it entirely due to safety concerns, organizational changes, or infrastructure modifications. - All vehicles parked in the area in front of the Festival venue or during the event itself, without a valid permit authorizing entry and parking, or parked in evacuation routes or access areas designated for emergency services and police, will be towed at the expense of the vehicle’s owner or holder.
- Participants experiencing symptoms of illness or health problems must promptly report to the Organizer or medical station on-site.
- The Participant acknowledges and accepts that the Organizer bears no responsibility for any potential infections or illnesses contracted during or in connection with the organization of the Festival. The Participant waives any claims against the Organizer in this regard and attends the Festival entirely at their own risk and responsibility.
- Definitions used in these Regulations (i.e., the ticket sales regulations for the 2025 Whisky Festival) and capitalized terms remain applicable within these Festival Terms and Conditions.
- The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time due to government orders, legal regulations, or other circumstances beyond its control.
